G & J Lines No.24 antique Edwardian dolls house manufactured in 1912.

This house is a unique version of the no.24 due to the addition of a clock tower in place of a second widow’s walk.

A brass plate above the balcony doors reads ‘Kits Coty House – Harleston – 1912’. This is particularly interesting as it was this exact house that defined the unofficial ‘Kits Coty’ name for this model of house after it was featured on pages 134 and 145 of Jean Latham’s book, Dolls’ Houses, A Personal Choice (1969).

It had been in the Joy McQuade collection for over 60 years.
